Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Tools handles, where it is kept and what control you have over it. In short: the instruments run in your browser, an account is optional, and we never store the values you enter.

Who we are
Tools is operated by bob.am, based in the Republic of Armenia ("we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
You can reach us through the contact form or the email address shown on this page.
What stays on your device
Text you type, files you drop and results you get are processed by the instrument inside your browser. They are not sent to our servers and we cannot see them.
The API client is the one exception: it sends the request you build directly from your browser to the address you enter. We do not proxy, log or store those requests or their headers.
Browser storage
Without an account, favorites, saved sets, recent instruments, saved flows and your theme and language preferences are kept in your browser’s local storage.
This data never leaves your device unless you sign in and choose to sync it. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
Account data
An account is optional. If you create one, we store your email address, a hashed password, whether the email is confirmed and your account settings.
A signed-in account can sync favorites, sets and flows. For flows we keep the chain itself — which instruments, in which order, with which settings — never the text you run through it.
If history is on, we record which instrument you opened and when, not what you entered. Sensitive instruments such as the JWT decoder or the hash generator stay out of history unless you allow them. You can clear history, turn it off, download your favorites and delete your account at any time from the account settings.
Contact form
When you write to us, we store your name, email address, the topic, your message, the interface language and, if you are signed in, a link to your account. We use this only to answer you and to improve the service.
A copy of the message may be emailed to our team inbox. We keep messages for as long as needed to handle your request and then delete them.
Usage statistics
We count how many times each instrument is opened per day, split only into guests and signed-in users. These counts contain no names, emails, addresses or identifiers and cannot be linked to you.
Separately from these counts, the site may use the third-party analytics and advertising services described in the next section.
Analytics and advertising
To understand how the site is used and to keep it free, we may use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and ads from Google AdSense and other advertising partners. When these services are switched on, they load in your browser and may set cookies or use similar technologies to count visits and to show ads, including personalised ads.
These services receive technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open and how you interact with ads. They never receive the text, files or results you work with in the instruments. Google processes this data under its own policies, described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
You can turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com, block Google Analytics with its official opt-out browser add-on, or block third-party cookies in your browser settings. The instruments keep working if you do.
Security
Connections use HTTPS, passwords are stored as hashes, and sign-in and forms are rate-limited. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect so there is little to expose.
Your rights
Under the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Protection of Personal Data you may ask us to tell you what data we hold about you, correct it, delete it or stop processing it. Most of this you can do yourself in the account settings.
For anything else, contact us from the email address of your account and we will respond within the time set by law.
Children
Accounts are not intended for children under 16. The instruments themselves can be used without an account and without giving us any personal data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced on the site.
